Sales / BD Specialist

About the role

Connect overseas-bound enterprises with the WiseLaw global lawyer network through events and the sales pipeline.

What you'll do

  • Plan and run overseas-themed events (workshops, salons, roadshows); convert attendees into sales leads.
  • Develop overseas-bound enterprise clients; uncover cross-border legal & compliance needs (incorporation, employment, data, IP).
  • Own the sales funnel end-to-end — from lead to contract, and on to renewal and referral.
  • Match client demand with the WiseLaw global lawyer network and partner service providers (tax, notary, translation).
  • Collect market intel on overseas demand, industry trends and case material for the content team.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or above with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years in sales / BD / event operations, or comparable ToB experience.
  • Hands-on experience in event planning, client outreach and corporate training organization.
  • Outstanding communication; speaking / hosting / training track record preferred.
  • Outgoing and proactive personality with experience in client-facing roles.
  • Working proficiency in English and Cantonese.
  • Hong Kong visa or HKID required.

Nice to have

  • QS top-100 university.
  • Overseas-platform operations experience (Cifnews, Ebrun, 36Kr Overseas, etc.).
  • Cross-border / foreign-trade / cross-border e-commerce background.
  • Instructor experience — online teaching, content ops, course development, or training-to-sales conversion.
  • Working knowledge of AI tooling.
  • Legal background — law major, law firm, in-house legal or legal-tech experience.
